i love jute!

I'm beachy.  Simple as that.  If I look around my house it becomes blatantly obvious I think I am living at the beach (albeit a good 200 miles walking distance to the actual beach.)  I just love light colors, stripes, and some blue. 

In my internet jute search I found these two cuties!  You can find them at World Market.  Goes to show you that places you never go to actually have little hidden gems! 

So, of coarse a doormat won't do for the Baby's room.
(That would be just plain weird.)   I did find this cute number at Ballard Designs.  Thinking this may be the one!

Inspiration Room

I saw this room and decided to go a different way with baby L's room.  I love some stripes.  I have a striped bathroom and 2 chevron striped rugs.  I have some serious stripe love!  

Plus, Sherwin Williams had a 40% off sale today on paint.  So, grey and white stripes it is for Baby L.

I think I will still incorporate my original turquoise and orange ideas into this more neutral toned room.


Will post a picture of the stripes once the husband gets them done!  Aren't husbands great!
